Peninsula Soccer League

Referee Info


The Peninsula Soccer League is a USSF-affiliated, competitive, amateur men's league.

PSL matches are played under the IFAB Laws of the Game on Sundays, from mid-September to late March, on fields from South San Francisco to San Jose.

Referee assignments for the PSL are managed using ArbiterSports.com.

If you are interested in officiating PSL matches, email the PSL Referee Assignor. Include your current USSF Grade and a brief description of your previous refereeing experience. If you are working on an upgrade, describe the requirements you are working on and your time frame for completing them.

2017-18 Referee Meeting: 9/14/2017, 7:30 PM


The 2017-18 season is now scheduled to start on October 1, 2017. The annual Referee Meeting was held on Thursday, September 14 in Room H-1 of the Cubberley Community Center, located at 4000 Middlefield Road in Palo Alto. (Room H-1 is at the Middlefield Road end of the H-wing. See the red arrow on the Cubberley campus map and directions.) This meeting is mandatory for referees who are new to PSL.

Secondary Medical Coverage Available via CSAN


If you sustain an injury while officiating a PSL game, you are eligible to receive up to $5,000 secondary medical coverage. This is in addition to the $2,000,000 liability coverage through USSF.
