DIRECTIONS TO FIELDS:

Bechet and McGarvey Fields at Red Morton Park

From 101: Exit 101 at Woodside Road. Go west on Woodside. Take the El Camino North exit off of Woodside Road. Turn right (north) onto El Camino. Turn left (west) onto Roosevelt. Continue on Roosevelt past Hudson and King Streets. Red Morton Park and the Community Activities Building are on the right.

From 280: Exit 280 at the Farmhill Boulevard (Canada College) exit. Follow Farmhill up and down the mountain. On flat ground, Farmhill becomes Jefferson. From Jefferson, right on Valota. Turn left into the National Guard parking lot just beyond the little picnic park area. (You'll be next to Bechet Field.)

For McGarvey Field: This field is the eastern-most field, usually, small, and used for U10. Park in the lot off of Roosevelt Avenue, and walk around the Community Activities Building to the right. You can also approach these fields from the other side (i.e., from the north). To do so, from El Camino, pass by Roosevelt Avenue, and turn left (west) onto Jefferson Avenue. Turn left onto Myrtle Street. Travel to the end of Myrtle and park in the lot. McGarvey Field will be directly in front of you.

Bechet Field: This field is the western-most part of the park, directly in back of the Community Activities Building. Most people like to park in the National Guard Armory lot. To do so, continue on Roosevelt past the Community Activities Building. Turn right onto Valota Street. Immediately, turn right into the parking lot. Bechet Field will be directly in front of you. (Don't get confused with the little picnic park to the left.) You can also approach this field from the other side (i.e., from the north.) To do so, from El Camino, turn west onto Jefferson Avenue. Turn left on Valota. Turn left into the parking lot just past the little picnic park area.
